We Want You! Star Wars Sequels News Reporter

Here we go again!

As most people know by now, plans are moving forward for a Star Wars sequel trilogy: Episodes VII, VIII and IX. I anticipate, of course, that news about this trilogy will be pretty constant. Therefore, Knights’ Archive is looking for someone to post sequel trilogy news updates!

If you are interested, send us an email at staff@knightsarchive.com. You’ll be asked to provide an example of a news report. There are some particular things that we want in a news report, but we’ll discuss that in the interview.

Above all things though, apply if you love Star Wars, want to report news and have fun doing it!

We Want You! Comics Reviewer

Love Star Wars comics? Enjoy talking about them? Want an easy way to get your opinions online, to be read by fans all over the world? Join us!

We are sending out a request for a Star Wars comic book reviewer. You will be joining Andrew, Megan, Ryan, super_redhead and I as we strive to review all things Star Wars.

Why review for Knights Archive?

  • We love Star Wars!
  • This is a fully operational battle station; once I add you to the system, you’re ready to share your opinions with our readers.
  • Once a review is posted, it’s sent across the internet via our blog, Twitter, Facebook, Digg, Reddit, The Forcebook.com, Port Haven Forums, and our LiveJournal account.
  • Posting reviews is a great way to increase your enjoyment of Star Wars. You know you’ll be heard, you’ll likely meet new people across the fandom, and who knows, an author or other VIP may acknowledge your review (happens here all the time). That in itself is an awesome privilege.
  • You’ll also have posting access to our Archive Entries section, which is a collection of staff essays about anything Star Wars.

How does it work?

You pick what comic book you want to read and review. Posting one review a month is a great goal, but no worries if things get in the way. Once you post a review, move on to the next comic book!

If you are interested, send us an email at staff@knightsarchive.com. You’ll be asked to send a sample review. We’ll select a reviewer from all entries posted. May the Force be with you!

Star Wars Celebration VI, Here We Come!

After much planning, I am officially going to attend my first Star Wars Celebration! I haven’t been able to attend the past Celebrations for various reasons, but I have read about them all and look forward to experiencing one firsthand.

What can you expect from me? I’ll be taking tons of pictures and updating the site frequently, so you’ll want to check us out constantly for breaking news, fun announcements and pictures of the event. Oh, and I look forward to meeting all of you!

Also, Knights Archive currently looking for sponsors! This is a great opportunity for your company to be seen at the biggest Star Wars fan gathering of the year. Look for my page describing various sponsor levels soon. I’ll provide a link to it in this post once completed.

May the Force be with all of you!

Help Wanted: The Clone Wars Reviewer

Do you enjoy watching The Clone Wars? Do you like talking about the episodes? Are you capable of posting an objective opinion about them? Why not join our staff and become a reviewer?

Requirements:

  • The ability to post at least one review a week, preferably just after each new episode (between Friday through the following Sunday evenings).
  • Familiarity with WordPress.

Familiarity with Knights Archive is a plus! If you are interested, please email us at knightsarchive@hotmail.com. We would like to see a sample of a review, which can be posted in the email. NOTE: This is a voluntary position.

We’re Growing!

Our 1-year anniversary is approaching fast! We’ve come from humble beginnings to being a fairly recognizable Star Wars fan site, thanks in no small part to you, our readers! Along with myself, Knights Archive has a new novel reviewer, Andrew, and hopefully we’ll continue to grow and see the need for more staff. We have hundreds of followers on Twitter, many fans on Facebook, and have other social media accounts.

It’s been my goal from the beginning to expand Knights Archive into a full-functioning website if the response was positive enough. I do believe that to be the case. I envision this site to not only continue its news reports, reviews and other content currently seen, but also to have more of an interaction with readers, perhaps our own forums and other areas of expansion.

I have my own ideas, and have been planning a new site for several months now, but do you have any ideas for what you’d like to see from us in the future? If you do, please leave a comment in this article!

I don’t have a time frame for when a new site will be launched. Just know that the plan is for it to happen, and I’m actively working towards that goal! In any event, I look forward to what the future holds for Knights Archive and for Star Wars.
